ROV Project Solutions Ltd is based around 20 years of experience in the ROV and survey industry for a variety of leading subsea / ROV companies.

- Responsible for the day to day operation of the Construction Support Business Line for UTEC in the UK, Mediterranean, and West Africa;- Responsible for meeting and exceeding financial Budget targets- Maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential new clients, to grow the Construction Support business in the UK.- Ensuring that all personnel, onshore in Aberdeen and offshore in Construction Support operations, are aware of the company’s Health & Safety policies and procedures and that these are strictlyadhered to;- Responsible for all Construction support department staff in Aberdeen, including direct supervision of Project Managers, Base support personnel, offshore Party Chiefs, Surveyors and SurveyEngineers, focussing on cost control, strict adherence to company QHSE and operating procedures and processes, and ensuring that the services provided meet Client’s reasonable expectations;- Day to day management of the UTEC Aberdeen Office in liaison with the HR & Facilities Manager;

- During 2007 / 2008 committed as the Project Manager of ‘new build’ Survey Construction Vessel, the ‘Fugro Saltire’- Prior to the ‘Fugro Saltire’ involved in the Project Management of all of the ‘Skandi Inspector’ projects, some on the ‘Skandi Carla’ and a few ROV Tooling project. Clients including TMPC, Snam Rete Gas, BP , Shell Nigeria, Woodside Mauritania, Apache, Technip and TS Marine.- Involved in the Development of the Fugro-Rovtech Subsea Construction & Engineering Dept- Continual Supervision and co-ordination of allocated ROV, Engineering and Survey Construction Projects (Vessel, Survey, Data Processing and ROV operations), through Internal departments and Sub-contractors- Management of Survey Construction vessel charter and vessel owners

- Involved with the Project Management of projects on both the ‘Skandi Inspector’ and the ‘Skandi Carla’. Clients include TMPC, Snam Rete Gas, Technip France / Total Angola, Sonsub, TranscoSNIP, Bord Gais.- To supervise and co-ordinate the performance of allocated Survey Construction Projects (Vessel, Survey, Data Processing and ROV operations), through Internal departments and Sub-contractors- Review and advise on contract tenders including the preparation of bid and costing information- Ensure that control is kept on contractual expenditure and preparation of project procedures- Maintain close liaison with the client throughout the Project workscope and on completion of project

The main areas of responsibility, as ROV Project manager were as follows: - To supervise and co-ordinate the performance of allocated Projects , through Internal departments and Sub-contractors - Review and advise on contract tenders including the preparation of bid and costing information - Maintain close liaison with the client throughout the Project workscope and on completion of project - Maintain records analysing ROV Breakdown - Maintain work records relating to specific ROV projects / Equipment used

The main areas of responsibility as Workshop Supervisor were as follows: - Responsible for implementing and monitoring Sonsub s HSE and Quality Procedures - Actively operate as a Saf ety Representative and attend monthly HSE committee meetings - Supervision, organisation, control and monitoring of all Workshop and Warehouse activities associated with ROV and Engineering Projects - Ensure Workmanship and information is in compliance with ISO 9001 - Ensure that all lifting equipment is tested in accordance with BS7072 regul ations and DNV 2.7-1 - Ensure all Workshop equipment is maintained and is fit for purpose

The main areas of responsibility as Technical Support Engineer were as follows: - Co-ordination and supervision in the Technical aspects of ongoing projects. - Provision of Technical assistance to the Operations manager and Project managers. - Continuously monitoring and evaluating ROV system performance. Investigation of specific problem areas and providing Technical solutions. - Establish and maintain regular contact with equipment manufacturers and suppliers. - Maintain technical library including control of ROV system QA documents and equipment certification. - Oversee refits and maintenance while ROV systems are in Base. Responsible for compiling Work Instructions, Workscopes, budgets and schedules. - Responsible for the initiation of a Repairs database and continuous updating of information - Responsibilities also include Safety Representative for Operations and QA representative to assist the QA manager

Employed on a temporary day rate contract as an Electronic Engineer.Stationed mainly offshore onboard various Survey related vessel s i.e. Pipelay Barges, Survey Ships and D.S.V s.Duties include the mobilisation of various types of Survey related equipment at the start of a contract onboard various vessels, the operation, maintenance and repair of the equipment during the contract and the demobilisation at the end of the contract. During the contract various opportunities arise to assist as OnlineSurveyor and Offline Data Processor. Various opportunities arose onshore, within the Survey w orkshop, to assist with the repair and maintenance of the survey related equipment between offshore contracts.

Main duties include the Repair, Servicing and Maintenance of all S.T.L. owned Survey Equipment in accordance with the Quality Assurance procedures. This also included Supervision of a Trainee Workshop Engineer and all Offshore Engineers that were required to assist with Workshop duties.The Workscope also included frequent Mobilisations of Survey Vessels and occasional experience was gained offshore. Duties also included construction and testing of all S.T.L. built survey equipment.
