Piletech is a specialist brand of Fletcher Infrastucture; Piletech are leaders in the design, supply and installation of steel screw piles in New Zealand. My role was in the New Business team, the Engineering team, and the Operations team to secure profitable new business. My role included:• generating and following up leads on prospective projects• developing constructable design solutions in conjunction with the design engineers, as well as assisting with setting high level budget estimates• preparing and submitting our tender price and documentation• ensuring that safety is considered from an early stage and that hazards are engineered out of projects from the beginning where possible• working with contractors and consultants to enhancing Piletech's reputation within the construction industry• transitioning secured projects to the operations team for construction • implementing strategies and material to increase the brand awareness of Piletech

• Coordinated between the head designer, photographers, graphic designers and sampling team to collate and distribute all sales material used worldwide• Managed the Deadly Ponies online store, which saw 300% growth over three years; set up and managed all customer service processes and stock management• Appointed first Deadly Ponies Global Sales Manager; managed all sales to New Zealand stockists, as well as our Australian, New York and London sales and press agents• Optimised local and international freight and managed the international dispatch interface with constantly changing customs requirements

• Responsible for detailed design through to construction of complex two-way suspended concrete slab, 20m long steel canopy and steel stairs• Project Manager for the publication of a leading document on sustainable buildings in Australia: “Existing Buildings, Survival Strategies”. This project involved collation of 3 external contributors’ work, editing and writing roles, graphic design input and booklet delivery• Experience in schematic and detailed design of high rise buildings, timber stud framing, composite steel and concrete, retaining walls, steel connections, plywood, waterproof concrete basements and other structural forms• Interfaced with architects during design, other engineers during detailed design, and contractors during construction• Selected as only Melbourne member of Graduate 3D Implementation Team. Tasked with thinking laterally and creatively with respect to traditional design and delivery approaches, and working independently under my own initiative• Proficient in vibration analysis and various forms of finite element and 3D modelling
