As a Regional Manager at iD Tech Camps, I oversee educational programs in the Northeast and Midwest. This involves building teams of employees and fostering growth opportunities for all staff. As a manager, it is my job to make sure that all of my people have the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to succeed.I have been with iD Tech in a variety of roles since 2015 - going by the camp name "Griffin" over the summers as part of the iD tradition. From a very early age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. In college, I tried programming on a whim and it was love at first byte! I graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Computer Science and a passion for teaching others. As an educator, I specialize in breaking down college-level programming skills into fun, relevant projects for students of all ages.As a member of our Regional Management team, I care deeply about building relationships. My top priority is creating a welcoming and inclusive workplace. I also rely on my computer science skills - including extensive Google Scripts experience - to streamline tasks and increase team efficiency. In my free time, I love playing tabletop games of all sorts, spinning my own yarn, taking on ambitious coding projects, and hiking. Ask me about: working at iD Tech, Google Apps scripting, or creating inclusive learning spaces!
