When I first joined Amazon, I was responsible for maintaining the existing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting infrastructure and building a strong knowledge base to allow the Prime FP&A team to be extremely nimble when it comes to insight generation and reporting. I have maintained reporting responsibilities while also taking on full ownership of the Prime P&L, which has allowed me to create strong partnerships with both internal PLX teams and external stakeholders. This helped improve accuracy and timeliness of the P&L as well as providing me an opportunity to share Prime insights across different teams. I have also taken on stretch projects outside of my daily scope, including some major projects presented to the C-Team to make multi-billion dollar decisions. Outside of my role, I have also become a mentor to many team members across the PLX Finance org, providing help with onboarding as well as SQL and automation help

Career Events Coordinator For The College Of Business
Connected business students with members of the business community by offering experiential learning and development and creating internship and career opportunities that attract employers to Nevada students. I also prepared College of Business students for the business world and unite them with regional employers.Notable Accomplishments:• Superintended over 10 career events per year by working with a team of 7 to bring high levels of customer service to 1,300 annual attendees• Managed financial accuracy for over $50,000 in annual transactions using Workday• Increased career fair attendance 33% YOY through innovative in-person and social media campaigns to targeted audiences leading to increase revenues for our office.I successfully brought our office into the digital age as well. With the encouragement from my supervisors and team, I have adopted the use of Career Fair Plus - an application specifically built to manage career fairs online. This has allowed students to view attending employers at the career fair, what jobs they are hiring for, and where they are located at in the event. This saves employers and students time while also streamlining the experience for all. I also worked with the College of Business' and University's IT department to implement a way to scan student ID cards as a means of entering an event. The current sign-in process is outdated, and scanning student IDs made attending events a painless process, while we gain meaningful insights on student demographics.
