I specialise in consumer data forecasting and insights, with a particular focus on the consumer spending, retail, alternative protein, FMCG, food and drink, and the e-commerce space. I create custom indices to quantity risk and rewards for certain segments across a number of different sectors and across a number of geographic regions. I hold a Master's degree in economics from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and have six years of experience at Fitch Solutions, where I have been responsible for managing projects and portfolios across multiple regions. My areas of expertise include managing databases, forecasting data, developing reports and presentations based on research findings and communicating insights to internal and external stakeholders.In addition to my work at Fitch Solutions, I am involved in various industry associations and forums. My keen interest in financial and equity markets led me to become a founding member and treasurer of a private investment club where we pitch stocks, conduct educational segments, and coordinate investments for a group of 15 members.
