Experience working as part of a crew to perform contract electrical work (including high voltage) in large scale manufacturing and distribution environments, including shutdown and outage events.▪ Experience in wiring up circuit breakers, transformers, or other large electrical components such as motors, pumps, etc. (initial install)▪ Experience in troubleshooting and repairing/replacing wires, electrical components, and large electrical equipment.▪ Experience in testing electrical systems for continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures using instrumentation (ohmmeters, voltmeters) to ensure compatibility and safety of systems▪ Skilled in installing conduit and/or pipes inside designated partitions, walls or other concealed areas and pulling insulated wires or cables through▪ Skilled in using a variety of tools and equipment, such as power construction equipment (forklift, manlift, bucket truck, etc.) power tools, and electrical testing equipment to perform work▪ Skilled in installing lighting systems indoor and outdoor (LED, Halogen, fluorescent, etc.)▪ Knowledgeable of key electrical principles and safe work practices▪ Knowledgeable of hazards associated with electrical work, including arc flash, electrocution, electrical shock▪ Able to work at heights (ladders, scaffolding, roofs, man lifts, etc.)▪ Able to perform physically demanding work (digging trenches, running conduit, etc.), including working in static or awkward postures
