I am a chemical engineering graduate from Brigham Young University, where I have developed valuable skills in research, safety, and facilities engineering. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to solve real-world problems and contribute to society.As an intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory, I led a project documenting over 200 AEDs and collaborated with the GIS team to update accurate locations. I also reviewed engineering project drawings, performed facility walk downs, created master equipment lists, and assisted project managers with various tasks. For my capstone project, I worked with Savannah River National Laboratory to model the deuterium-tritium fusion cycle using Aspen Plus and available literature. I wrote and presented a project proposal and a final report to the project sponsor, and led a team to develop the model for the tritium breeder blanket subsystem. Additionally, I conducted research on biomass combustion at BYU, leading the investigation on optimal milling techniques and writing a technical report on my findings.My goal is to pursue a career in chemical engineering that challenges me, allows me to grow, and makes a positive impact.
