Bringing my experience as an architectural designer to the facade manufacturing industry, I lead branding, marketing, technical consulting, and product design for H Window Company.I started college as a political science major with the dream of becoming an ambassador. But I was getting terrible grades because instead of listening to the lecturers I was busy drawing floor plans of my dream home. The thought then crossed my mind that if I changed my major I could draw plans and not get in trouble for it! I was hooked on day one of architecture school. Between degrees I lived and worked in Jinja, Uganda as a designer and construction manager for a non-profit called Engineering Ministries International. It was immensely satisfying using my skills and experience to manage three community-benefitting construction projects in this part of Africa. I am an advocate for the way design can bring dignity and change to communities around the world.
