I have been working as project engineer, certified MIKE trainer and more recently assisted in project management tasks.In the past 8 years, I have gained an extensive work experience in Europe, Asia and Africa, working for national and international organisations. I have recently been involved in an Integrated Water Resources Management knowledge transfer programme in Burkina Faso. I have previously worked in the Nile basin, the Greater Chao Phraya River Basin in Thailand and the Volta basin in West Africa, and I am currently involved in a large World Bank programme in the Shire river basin in Malawi. My professional experience includes projects in Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, China, Denmark, France, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Malawi, RD of Congo, Thailand, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.In addition to consultancy projects, I have also taken part in European research projects (such as EUPORIAS, a project funded by the European commission under the seventh framework programme) and Danish funded research where innovative solutions are developed and applied. My publications include several conference papers and one journal paper about real-time optimisation of reservoir operation in Vietnam.
