🇸🇰 Michal Brichta is a co-founder of Slovak Space Office and the director of its Industry Branch working under the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO). 🚀 In 2019 he initiated a new strategic approach and a set of government-driven activities to steer the comprehensive development of national space ecosystem. Building on this approach, his team works today to support the further development of the Slovak space sector and its internationalisation with a focus on full utilisation of the country’s strong industrial and R&D potential as well as on the 21st century‘s space economy. It is also the official national contact point for foreign space agencies, offices, associations as well as businesses and research entities. 🌍 Michal Brichta is also the Slovak delegate to the Council of the European Space Agency as well as a newly-elected Vice President of the International Astronautical Federation advancing the democratisation of space and involvement of less-traditional players in the sector.
