A career of hands-on design engineering underpins Ed’s focus on resiliency, sustainability, and operations-oriented construction in the built environment, as well as a technically minded approach towards policy.Ed has been responsible for aligning project execution with the company’s strategic goals and core values, building consensus among various internal stakeholders, managing multiple internal reports and external consultants, vendors, and construction teams. Complimenting his experience in the world of high rises and central plants, Ed has served on code committees for the NYC Department of Buildings. He currently advises two Local Law 97 working groups, bringing technical expertise to bear at the intersection of policy and politics while working in collaboration with environmental groups, utilities, and other local stakeholders.
