Siri is a lawyer and certified mediator, and has extensive experience in project financing, as well as administrative and labour law. She “translates” and simplifies complex agreements and facilitates both their negotiation and their interpretation for practical and realistic outcomes. Siri is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

Responsible for overall Contracts & Procurement of BHPB’s global program of Potash projects and for the governance of the organization’s global Supply processes. Reporting directly to the VP Projects, leading teams in 3 locations across Canada. Provide oversight and governance of the prime EPCM contractor and coordinate all supply priorities, ensuring alignment with the organization’s global business plan.

Reporting to the Owner’s Project Director, responsible for the creation and management of the Project’s Contractor Coordination Centre. The purpose of the Centre was to work with the Project’s contractors and suppliers, plan and coordinate their workforce, local and international (mostly sourced from LCC) and process visas and work permits (processed over 15,000 work permits and visas for the Project’s global workforce of 7,500 workers). Responsible for setting up cross-functional protocols within the project teams as well as maintaining dialogue with local and international government agencies & internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to 1996, practiced law and was a partner with national firms such as Stikeman Elliott, specializing in commercial and civil litigation, labour relations and administrative law.
