1. Provide extensive support to formulation research scientists by conducting experiments and testing on various formulations using a range of laboratory equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs). I contribute to updating SOPs for equipment such as the Mobil Minor, LP5, and Ro-Tap.2. Oversee Shipping and Receiving functions, including Field R&D inventory and GLP inventory.3. Evaluate product integrity under different conditions, package compatibility, and weight loss over time.4. Conduct numerous stability studies in order to test product integrity at different temperatures for a determined amount of time.5. Conduct user standardization and basic calibration (pH meter, Turbidity Meter, Viscometer, Smart 5, Karl Fisher) and troubleshoot various laboratory instruments and equipment when necessary.6. Qualified to operate Formulation equipment such as Brookfield Viscometer, Densito PX30, Tensiometer, Karl Fisher, Applied Chemical Granulator, Particle Size Malvern 3000, MB45 IR Analyzer, Smart 5, Dome Gran Extruder, the Silverson Homogenizer, and the Omni Homogenizer.7. Help organize the waste management operations, including proper disposal of obsolete actives and raw materials to be ready for disposal in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations.8. Can receive, prepare, and label sample shipment requests independently within a timely manner, which includes proper packaging and GHS labeling.9. Have organized and initiated a schedule for Weekly Safety Inspection to continually monitor, inspect, and record any recommendations for the Formulations Department in order to better sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, and incorporate safety according to the 6S Method of a Safe Workplace.10. Direct involvement with the Supply Chain department in order to ensure that shipments going in and out of Formulations are complete.
