I recently completed my PhD exploring how to strengthen provision of hepatitis C care in resource-constrained settings with two projects based in Yangon, Myanmar. My first project was the CT2 Study, which was a trial of simplified hepatitis C care pathways in decentralised clinics. I was the project manager for the CT2 Study and successfully delivered this to meet the targets within deadlines. My second project was an evaluation the the Myanmar National Hepatitis C Treatment Program, assessing the patient experience of accessing care. Findings from my PhD work have now been included in recent WHO Guidelines and showcased as a case-study. I am an experienced Research Officer with a demonstrated history of working in public health, across HIV and hepatitis C specific projects. Skilled in evaluation of service delivery, evaluation and development of health promotion campaigns, understanding and optimising use of electronic medical records software, data management, data analysis and managing small to medium sized projects. Previously worked on hepatitis C community based testing and treatment demonstration projects and implementation studies in Victoria, Australia.
