I have over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. In every restaurant I work in, I make sure to familiarize myself with all tiers of the establishment. I have done everything from dishwashing and delivery driving, to assistant and general management, and everything in between (Both FOH and BOH). I pride myself on my work ethic and loyalty. The two main restaurants I ran, both high volume pizza places (In Columbus and Chicago), I was with each of them for over 8 years. Each restaurant, I worked my way up from a delivery driver to assistant and general manager. In addition to that experience, I have gained other skills from other employment in fine dining establishments, food running, running expo, bartending, even being a hostess and busser. I have a keen intuition for this line of work. I can anticipate when certain things will be needed, I plan accordingly, and I can delegate tasks to others in a kind and efficient way. My initiative is a force to be reckoned with, in that if I see something wrong, something needs to be done, I will be the one to do it or speak up. Furthermore, I care about not only the customer, but my fellow coworkers. I will always cover someone on the line if they need a break, I am always the first one to calm a customer down when someone else can't. I have even been interviewed by the Chicago Tribune about how I handled a GrubHub blackout, as not only was I the general manager, I also ran all the social media. With no uncertainty, I would like to say, I would be a very good asset to any company.
