A passionate advocate for the arts and an accomplished non-profit executive, I am Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra's (WYSO) longest tenured executive leader. Under my leadership, WYSO grew its membership by 35% and expanded its staff, faculty, board of directors, donor base, and annual budget. I served as Secretary of the WYSO Foundation during a time when additional fundraising efforts resulted in a 44% increase of WYSO's endowment. I will culminate my tenure with WYSO in January of 2025 following the completion of the new WYSO Center for Music, where I served as project lead during the design and implementation phase while securing lead gifts for the capital campaign.I am proud to have greatly expanded WYSO's footprint across Wisconsin's youth arts community. In 2017, WYSO acquired Madison Music Makers, a program that provides quality instruments and instruction to students from diverse backgrounds. A revitalization of WYSO's touring program resulted in four successful concert tours to Europe and South America.Prior to joining WYSO, I was the Executive Director of the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center in Rockford, IL.I served 10 years on the League of American Orchestras Youth Orchestra Division Board of Directors from 2013-2023.
