Bridget applies a keen, technically-apt and creative intelligence to communicating the latest technology through world-class user documentation and training. An information design, technical authoring and elearning specialist, Bridget has extensive experience in global agile software documentation development and is currently in a fintech management role. She is also co-chair of the nexo ATM Protocol Working Group.She has qualifications from the University of Oxford in both English and Computing combined with the GCHQ-accredited MSc in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics from Edinburgh Napier University. Throughout her career, Bridget has embraced new technology and tools and thrives on exploring how best to communicate highly technical software; an early adopter of online information for corporate use pioneering intranet development in the United Kingdom, she also project managed, co-developed and tutored on, the University of Oxford's first online course in Computing. However she remains convinced of the need to balance the new with excellent writing, authoring fundamentals and user awareness. She is a thought-provoking speaker at conferences in Europe and North America; most recently at API the Docs Paris on cybersecurity for technical authors. Bridget is both geek and poet: her collections The Last Days of Petrol (2022) and Exact Colour of Snow (2025) are available from Shearsman Books. Shortlisted for The Bridport Prize and the inaugural Dr Gavin Wallace Fellowship, she is a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award in poetry recipient.
