North Kaybob Montney Oil TeamCreated value by drilling economic Montney horizontal wells, providing input on drilling & completion programs. Mapped net pay, porosity, permeability, paleo structure, H2S, water saturation & mobility, BVHC, and OOIP. Facilitated the procurement core analysis, tracer data, gas analysis and frac data for improved reservoir characterization. - Led the planning and drilling of 60 successful Montney horizontal wells, bringing on 7000boe/d. - Refined reservoir parameters to propose and implement improved well spacing, landing zone, lateral length, frac size/spacing, along with optimized frac fluid, which increased well economics. Continually updating the geo model with new data. - Targeted oil in a new landing zone in a previously interpreted gassy region. Collaborated with a Petrophysicist & Geophysicist on reservoir characterization to map multiple Montney facies beyond the developed pool. Developed accurate reserve estimates of OOIP and made budget recommendations. As a result, drilled multiple successful Montney Hz wells in an emerging area. - Implemented a gas injection scheme to improve oil production and pressure maintenance and utilize uneconomic produced gas. Followed up this EOR success by building a water injection scheme

Corporate Business Development, Technical Evaluations TeamPart of the technical evaluations team that was responsible for any large-scale acquisition and divestiture opportunities for Encana. Responsible for providing geologic input on reservoir characterization, type curve analysis, economic modelling and geological risk/uncertainty. Mapped, evaluated and presented numerous plays across Western Canada, presenting future development scenarios to upper management. - Involved in 5 successful A&D processes ranging in value from $100MM – $2B. - Collaborated with the New Ventures team on multiple evolving plays, including the emerging Duvernay and Montney, to understand technical play concepts and future development plans. Continually relayed information between the New Ventures team and Corporate Business Development, enabling the teams to work more efficiently. - Screening of new opportunities, where I coordinated and managed a property ranking process across multiple divisions, to identify a coveted asset list for potential corporate and asset acquisitions. - Managed the geological data, due diligence, as well as Q&A’s on multiple divestiture processes. Point person for reviewing the technical material in the data rooms on all major acquisitions.

Wainwright Team (Heavy Oil) & Viking Resource TeamResponsible for areas and plays including: Hayter, Provost, Consort, Wainwright, Lloydminster, Neilburg, and Marsden, totalling more than 11,000 boe/d. Mapped Cretaceous Sands: Viking, McLaren, Colony, Sparky, Rex and Lloyd - Mapped an expansive area for a Viking resource play, which evolved into a major play for the company. - Created value for the company by drilling 3 successful horizontal Viking wells in Q4 2010 to appraise sand qualities for future large-scale development programs. - Executed a successful 5 well heavy oil drill program in Provost. Worked with engineers on enhanced secondary recovery (EOR) schemes such as water and polymer flooding. - Recognized by the President for adding value to the company by developing full asset depletion strategies in the Lloydminster, Marsden and Neilburg areas, resulting in the asset sale of 6000 boe/d of heavy oil to Husky.

Northern Asset TeamIdentified and executed the drilling of 8 successful locations on the Peace River Arch, through detailed mapping of productive horizons on company lands.
