Part of the senior executive team reporting direct to the CEO. A local government organisation with $3B worth of assets, a yearly spend on $130M on capital and an operational budget of $200M. Responsibility: Implementing the significant service delivery changes as a result of reforms to the aged care system that started on 1 July 2013. These were major reforms that moved to a model on offering choice and flexibility for consumers model whilst ensuring the system remained sustainable and affordable, while. These reforms also encouraged businesses to invest and grow. The changes improved fairness and sustainability of the aged care financing arrangements, with strong safeguards implemented to ensure access to care for those who cannot afford to contribute to the cost of their care and accommodation.Achievements: Awarded the meritorious Public Service Medal in the Australia Day honours in recognition for playing a critical and leading role in the Department's national response in relation to Aged Care Reform. Led the Department's national service delivery teams in implementing the Aged Care Reforms. Managing the challenges associated with new policy and procedures, a new customer base, a new service delivery system, and new ICT systems.

Company Director is small private company in the construction industry. Annual turnover $1.5M with 14 staff including at any one time 4-5 apprentices.

National Manager responsible for the development of policy and service delivery options as it related to family payments and paid parental leave. Developed and implemented the inaugural Paid Parental leave scheme across Australia from 1 January 2011. Was responsible for all elements of the service delivery of this initiative across more than 400 national locations. It involved significant stakeholder engagement with the business community who were instrumental in delivering this scheme through their payroll systems.
