CurrentLand Use, Tenure and Agrarian Reform - 25 years of experience in South and Southern Africa and Ireland.Areas of Focus: Differing forms of land use, tenure and management, in particular communal property regimes; land use and natural resource management; land use change, ecosystems approach to agriculture (agroecology / regenerative agriculture); climate change in agriculture; sustainability and rural development; forestry and sustainability; land grabbing. A dedicated focus on Women in relation to the aforementioned topics and a bottom up approach using direct experience and acquired knowledge to research, policy development and management.Skills brought to the table include: facilitator trainer, project and programme management with a specialist organisational development role around change management; participatory research and planning; multi-stakeholder consultation and needs based assessments; institutional development and capacity building; strategy and policy development; policy analysis; public speaking.I have a legal background (BA LLB University KZN-Pmb) and am a hill sheep farmer (sheep, ponies and bees) in the Ox Mountains in West Ireland.
