I am a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Strategic Social Media. I am very passionate about business within the fashion industry, and I completed a remote internship with the amazing fashion brand Ollari. In addition to my academic journey, I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Italy for four months during the spring semester of my junior year. Engaging with the vibrant culture and diverse perspectives, this experience broadened my horizons and global perspective. During my time overseas, I had the opportunity to contribute to a student-run vintage store. This role allowed me to engage with the local community, gain insights into the value of Italian vintage garments, and deliver outstanding service, all while supporting the university's commitment to funding student scholarships with the generated profits. During my internship with Ollari, I played a pivotal role in enhancing their online presence. From creating an Etsy account and Shopify store to leveraging Pinterest, I contributed to boosting the brand's visibility. Additionally, I worked on social media promotions, showcasing their latest collections. This experience has not only fortified my skills in marketing but also provided valuable insights into the dynamic world of e-commerce.Outside the realm of fashion, I've spent the last three years financially supporting myself through college by bartending. This experience has equipped me with resilience, adaptability, and exceptional customer service skills. Furthermore, I have seven years of waitressing experience, which has pushed me to master staying organized, being efficient, and thriving under pressure. These roles were more than jobs; they were classrooms teaching invaluable lessons about teamwork, time management, and delivering top-notch service.As I transition from my academic journey, I am eager to bring this diverse skill set, global perspective, and strong work ethic to a dynamic professional setting.
