Recruit, train, and oversee a network of 1,000+ volunteers engaged in over a dozen volunteer engagement opportunities. All volunteers must be screened and pass a background check, as well as undergo orientation and training before being matched with a K-12th grade student to tutor. Host quarterly seminars on cultural competency and changing academic strategies to keep active volunteers up to date on best practices with students.Manage the VolunteerHub CRM system to track contact information, volunteer metrics, and all digital communications to volunteers including a monthly newsletter.Customize engagement opportunities for individuals vs groups, youth vs adults, and various organizations including faith groups, civic groups, schools and corporations. Conduct annual volunteer satisfaction survey, create annual volunteer metric reports with monthly breakdowns, and host annual volunteer appreciation events. Participate as a member of the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta, specifically supporting the work to help corporate volunteers understand best practices for engaging with service organizations to maximize impact and story-telling narratives. Solicit an annual average of $150,000 in food and grocery donations to be packed and distributed by volunteers every weeknight during the school year. Work alongside Kitchen Coordinator to ensure proper inventory and food safety standards are being maintained by volunteers.Complete the creation and launch of the new initiative "Agape Teen Leaders" or "ATL" through which a class of 25 high school age volunteers participate in four monthly service-learning seminars where they learn the fundamentals of philanthropy and sustainable service while they fundraise at least $1,500 through the course of the program that is donated to Agape's after school program fund. Lead coordinator for three annual community outreach events including The Great Backpack Giveaway, The Extreme Bedroom Makeover, and The Holiday Gift Store.

Athens, Georgia Area

Manage and recruit all group/individual volunteer engagement including construction site and thrift store opportunities, community service worker assignments, interns and service learning projects, out of town and international volunteers, and homeowner sweat equity. Approximately 600+ CSW assignments, and 1,600+ volunteers to date, and thrift store engagement has increased by 150%. Maintain current financial donor relationships, oversee all incoming donations, and provide corresponding PR. Brought in over $220,000 to date via grant proposals and community partnerships.Coordinate all general outreach efforts to local businesses, churches, and the university. Increased local engagement by 45%.Collaborate with marketing director to develop marketing strategy, web/social content, mailing materials, and corresponding outreach deliverables to achieves goals assigned by executive director.Strategize and execute fundraising and community engagement events including 2 large events and at least 6 medium events every year in additional to tabling opportunities. In 2018, the two large events alone brought in $70,000 and engaged 1,000+ community members.Created and developed food donation program called “Build an Appetite” where food donors schedule monthly donations for construction volunteers up front for a year. Increased scheduled donations by 78%.

Created a new site map and developed new website content.Worked directly with the executive director, the volunteer/donor coordinator, the business manager, and the marketing and operations director on a website redesign strategy to best fulfill all their needs.The site now communicates the organizations objectives with potential volunteers and donors more clearly and better explains the available services to people looking for assistance.Managed several blog posts and corresponding social posts, landing pages, email blasts, and an official press release.Currently working on creating more narrative content for the site.
