My role is a diverse one, working with several teams on many different projects across this large charitable organisation, all focused on decarbonisation. I am currently working in the Strategy Directorate on the customer service delivery for an ambitious new retrofit project.

In this internship, I will be working closely with the Tarland community, as well as representatives from Aberdeenshire Council and local landowners, to understand how the pandemic has re-shaped the opportunities and challenges of living and working in rural areas through academic research, knowledge exchange and community engagement.

I was elected to this role due to my passion for environmental action and oversaw the sustainable and ethical development of the college.

I ran all the party events within my college, managing one of the biggest budgets of the student body, and I gained great experience of event management and team leadership.
