•Learned the importance of OSHA, NRC, and INPO regulations and implemented them in my daily activities to maintain a safe workplace. •Gained an understanding of the importance of the INPO “Traits of a Healthy Nuclear Safety Culture” and “Principles for Maintaining an Effective Technical Conscience”. These were used every day by following procedures and safety guidelines, especially when inside the plant.Second semeter working with the "Engineering Programs"​ group – (January – May 2014)•Worked with the Fire Protection team to organize and streamline the preventative maintenance work order system, saving man hours and unnecessary part replacement. This was done through research of history and organizing information in excels files.•Worked with a team to resolve an issue with NRC valve regulations. Research was completed to count the cycle history of all valves to confirm they complied with NRC regulations. •Created excel documents to organize and chart data from system testing.First semester working wit the "Electrical and Systems" group – Fulltime (May – August 2013)•Collaborated with management and IT department to create a new intranet site for the engineering department that promoted engineering news, file sharing and workplace contacts.•Worked with a mentor to complete As Built Notices to fix incorrect documents and drawings. These required thorough research and following a procedure.
