Committed to empowering athletes to make community and societal impact, Bridget Gannon founded BRIDGE Sports & Entertainment to build bridges to positive impact for athletes and the communities and causes they care about through strategic and purposeful consulting and management.Ms. Gannon is a professional sports executive with 17 years of industry experience spanning MLB, the NBA, WNBA, NHL, ATP Tour, and beyond. She is also a champion of inclusive and diverse marketing and advertising, fan engagement and development, and staffing within the industry as sport is a universal unifier with a place for everyone.Ms. Gannon is a Founding Member of Pro Sports Assembly - the association for professional sports business leaders at teams, leagues, unions, and venues who are invested in creating a strong, healthy, and fair professional sports ecosystem. At Pro Sports Assembly, Ms. Gannon is the inaugural Co-Chair of The Assembly’s Pro Medal of Leadership Awards, an inaugural member of The Assembly’s Planning Committee and Programming Subcommittee, and the Co-Chair of the Social Impact Member Resource Group.Prior to BRIDGE Sports & Entertainment, Ms. Gannon served as the Vice President of Giving & Growth for The Players Alliance - a player-led and player-driven nonprofit breaking down barriers in baseball and increasing diversity in the game both on and off the field. Prior to The Players Alliance, Ms. Gannon was responsible for the National Basketball Retired Players Association’s (NBRPA) Legends Care initiative, its programs, partnerships, and athlete engagement as the Vice President of Social Impact. Before the NBRPA, Ms. Gannon oversaw the Nationals Dream Foundation - charitable arm of the Washington Nationals baseball team - and was MLB's 2018 All-Star Legacy Projects Coordinator, leading $1.7 million of capital improvement projects around the DC metro area and unveiled during the 2018 MLB All-Star Week. In addition, Ms. Gannon’s professional experience includes the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, and Legg Mason Tennis Classic (now Citi Open).A native of Philadelphia, PA, Ms. Gannon received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC and certificates from Yale University, Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, and the University of South Florida Muma College of Business among others. Ms. Gannon is a longtime member of Women in Sports & Events (WISE), a recipient of the 2023 Girls Inc. of Chicago She Shines Award, and a Sports Business Journal Game Changers nominee.
