Shadowed the school psychologist and school adjustment counselor during one on one counseling meetings or group. Supported the Bridge Program by helping students with mental health issues figure out coping strategies while transitioning back from temporary leave from school, usually due to hospitalization. Met with 3 students every other week in a group setting to work on coping strategies for their emotions. Met with a caseload of 10-12 students individually every other week for a social emotional check in. Attended outside workshops and professional development.

Operated as a front desk receptionist. While at the front desk, my duties included making sure the place looks presentable, greeting clients as they walk in, checking clients in to their fitness classes, checking clients out with retail purchases, assisting in babysitting, answering phone calls, and various customer service.

Offered support through near-peer mentorship, role modeling, and tutored in class and during after school hours. Compiled student data from attendance and coursework to monitor student progress and interventions. Created positive school climate with whole-school initiatives regarding attendance and social-emotional learning.
