Bridget Holmes is a seasoned non-profit leader with two decades experience in constituent engagement, volunteer management, institutional advancement and more. She is currently Executive Director of BellRinger, a community of bike riders working to raise millions of dollars to fund three cancer research labs at Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Washington, D.C.Empathetic, entrepreneurial, and innovative, Bridget has been a proud part of Georgetown University for close to 20 years. She started her career at Georgetown as Director of Alumni Career Services and Senior Director of Career Initiatives, coming from Villanova where she was Assistant Director of their Career Education Center. Bridget has a track record of pioneering and building creative programs with widespread stakeholder support. She prioritizes a positive and transparent culture, has led efforts related to overall alliance and affinity strategy building and is known for successfully working across functions and stakeholders and leading diverse, high performing teams.She earned her Certificate for Leadership Coaching at Georgetown, did doctoral work at Widener University, received an M.S.Ed at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Lehigh University. Bridget grew up in Silver Spring, MD and she and her husband have called Takoma Park, MD home for 18 years. An active volunteer and prolific fundraiser at her childrens’ school, in her free time she’s likely cheering her kids on from a field hockey or baseball field and starting every morning by doing the New York Times Wordle, Connections and Strands.
