I've been involved in the Insurance and Employee Benefits industry for almost 20 years. I've administered employee benefits, group and individual disability plans, adjusted workers compensation claims and educated and managed retiree health benefits which included Medicare managed plans. I have worked with various union contracts for benefits administration, municipalities and TPA's. During this time I've learned a great deal, both thru education and hands on experience. I feel that the most important skills you can have in this industry are the ability to communicate, educate and empathize with your client, your employee, your team.
