I have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of San Diego, certified by the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).With approximately six years of industry experience, I have successfully led and contributed to multiple projects involving phage display, yeast display, library design, cloning, expression, purification, and characterization of protein candidates. I have also developed and optimized in vitro and cell-based assays, and analyzed data using various statistical techniques. I have co-invented two patents on engineered polymerases for improved sequencing by binding, and I have established SOPs and metrics for enzyme quality and performance. I am passionate about applying protein engineering and NGS to address unmet medical needs and advance biomedical research.
