Unfortunately, while most parents proudly snap hundreds of pictures of their children each month, the vast majority do nothing with the photos, thereby losing the memory. While we can’t freeze time, one way to keep these memories alive, is to create printed photobooks which will be cherished forever.For Keeps(tm) is the first app of its kind allowing users to create full-featured photobooks entirely on their phones!! In addition to being the fastest and easiest solution for making photobooks, we're including some unique features for moms & dads which allow them to capture kids' milestones and hilarious quotes! As a busy mother of 3, I'll admit that by the time I get around to logging that stuff into their baby books (usually months later), I've forgotten specific details which make it special. Let's face it, the paraphrase is never as cute or funny as the original quote! Now parents can capture milestones and quotes in real-time, because our phone is always handy.

Market Research Manager

In this position, I was able to draw upon my expertise in consumer research to conduct much of Magna’s research in-house, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars. Since establishing this function at the corporate level, I was able to eliminate redundancy in research expenditures, due to Magna’s decentralized operating structure. I also drove an awareness for the importance of research throughout the organization and eventually expanded the role into a global position, studying consumers world-wide.Given Magna's decentralized structure, I worked hand-in-hand with each of the product groups to prioritize and guide new product developments. I also provided credible data to the sales teams, which has been used to secure new business with OE customers.

Director Of Marketing

As Magna gained additional market share, my role was divided into two Director of Marketing positions. While I retained the Seating group, I also took over responsibility for Market Research, which supported 3 Magna divisions. During this time, I was directly responsible for developing Magna's Best-in-Class scorecard, which was adopted by Chrysler as the "benchmark" for other suppliers to follow. This scorecard integrated Voice of the Customer, Benchmarking, JD Power performance and Craftsmanship into a scoring system which allowed us to objectively compare one program against another. This scorecard along with our knowledge of the end consumer resulted in Magna winning the complete interior for the Dodge Journey. I was also instrumental in Magna winning the Chrysler Stow 'n Go™ seating business. Our data on the minivan consumer as well as our own proprietary research were key success factors for this program award.

Marketing Manager

After only 19 months in Marketing, I was promoted to Marketing Manager with two specialists as direct reports. I was responsible for all aspects of Marketing for Magna Seating Systems, including consumer research, strategic planning, advertising, website, PR, customer presentations, promotional videos, print collateral, etc. This was an awesome opportunity for me to grow in the field of Marketing.After running the Seating group’s marketing for 2 years, I was given the additional responsibility of heading up Magna’s Interiors division. These two divisions had combined sales of approximately $5 billion. With 5 direct reports, I was awarded “Most Outstanding Performance in a Supervisory Role” for all of Sales & Marketing globally.

Marketing Analyst

Despite my success as a cost analyst, I realized finance was not my long-term destiny. With my MBA underway, I decided to take on a new challenge in the Sales & Marketing department as a Marketing Analyst. My primary responsibilities were developing customer presentations, gathering competitive intelligence and voice of the customer. This was my first exposure to consumer research and I knew instantly, that this was the area of marketing I would enjoy the most!

Utilizing my bachelor degree in Finance, I hired into Magna International’s Seating group (Magna Seating Systems) as a Cost Analyst. I was responsible for the company’s “bread and butter” program – business valued at over $800 million. My attention to detail and excellent people skills facilitated my success in this highly visible role.
