I am a creative, organized and reliable individual set to graduate from my MA in media and communications program in December 2024 from University of Exeter. I have a BA in anthropology from San Diego State University, and I studied abroad during my final year at University of Kent, United Kingdom. I am eager to further explore the realms of photojournalism, wildlife conservation, media strategy, communications, and copywriting.I am passionate about cultural immersion, cross-cultural communication, wildlife conservation, photojournalism, and the ways in which media strategies can be used to both raise awareness and facilitate change.I wrote my master’s thesis on how young women perceive aging through the lens of social media, as I am interested in investigating the link between media and socio-cultural norms that have been impacted in recent years due to social networking platforms, and what implications this holds for our future. My strong communication, writing, and content strategy skills make me an asset to any organization, and I look forward to seeing what improvements I can make, as well as what other skills I can acquire from entering the workforce.
