Primary responsibilities include front desk customer service, studio upkeep, studio support for staff and artists, and being a good ambassador for CCP. Engage in public-facing interactions by greeting and counting visitors, checking in artists, answering phone calls, processing purchases, and guiding visitors through the studio spaces and gallery. Oversee general facilities, including opening and closing procedures, stocking handouts and materials, cleaning public spaces, maintaining the kitchen, and accepting mail and package deliveries.Act as an ambassador for CCP and provide expertise about printmaking and our organization to a diverse range of patrons. Conducts general studio upkeep and stocking activities as directed by the Studio Manager. Support artists by assisting with tools, equipment, and supplies and helping with the setup and cleanup of studio spaces. Assist the Education and Workshops Manager with studio oversight during weekend workshops and facilitate hands-on printmaking activities and community outreach events.

An internship at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking is a great opportunity to learn about a nonprofit professional workshop/studio and gallery. Interns are involved in many aspects of our programs and receive hands on work experience. Studio interns should have working knowledge of printmaking or studio art and an interest in the operation of a professional studio. Interns are primarily involved in general maintenance of the studios and facilities and provide assistance with edition printing and preparation of artwork for exhibition.

Assist One River instructors with the following in either Summer Camps or regular weekly classes: Prepare and set up for classes. Hand out art materials to students. Assist students when they need help with their artwork. Manage student behavior.Clean up and put away art materials. Other tasks as needed.

Working with freshman students within the Accommodations Program to help them adjust during their transition to college. I worked with a small group of Freshman students, bringing them to workshops about certain programs at Marist College, giving them a tour of the campus, showing them where their classes would be, and doing team building activities with them. The program lasted from August 18th – 25th 2020, and August 25th-29th 2021.

Three week internship started through a High School program. Started May 20th, 2019, and ended on June 7th, 2019. Position included: working inside a fifth grade classroom, helping students with art, math and writing, cleaning up the classroom, and assisting my assigned teacher.
