Over the past 15 years, my architectural tasks and responsibilities have ranged from competition design and team management to technical detailing and contract administration. I have worked on an array of projects diverse in scale, audience and geography, from a botanic gardens to university buildings, including masterplans, airports, commercial buildings, private and multi-family residences, and an embassy. I am passionate about improving access for, and reducing attrition of, people from diverse ethnic and gender backgrounds into built environment professions. To that end, I am vice-chair of Women in Architecture UK, and I currently lead our EDI commitiee at RSHP. I was also one of the original tutors for the Level 7 (Part 2/3) architectural apprenticeship course at Oxford Brookes University.
