I am earned a BSN program at Thomas Jefferson University in May of 2021. Additionally, in 2015, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Health and Wellness from High Point University. During my time at High Point, I was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity and the manager of the Division 1 Women's Soccer team. I started my nursing career in the height of a global pandemic. As a medical-surgical nurse on a COVID-19 unit, I quickly developed the necessary skills to adapt and become a highly functioning asset to the Global Emerging Disease Institute (GEDI) team. With the raise and falls of the pandemic surges, I worked side by side with ICU nurses and ultimately decided to transition into the critical care setting. Currently I am enrolled in a 12 week critical care class to further increase my acute care skills. In 2021, I was nominated for a Daisy award within the 1st 4 months of working as a nurse. In 2022, during my 1st nurses week, I was recognized as a GEDI Hero Award. An award granted by the Infection Prevention division of the hospital to those who demonstrated nursing excellence in the height of the pandemic. In addition to nursing, I have a strong background in customer service and marketing and am confident my experience and personable nature will help me excel in assisting others reach their goals while reaching mine, and make me an asset for establishing and maintaining client relationships. Working in the service industry has given me a firm foundation in both sales and customer service has helped me develop the ability to work and communicate well with others and lead large and small groups. My supervisor role has attuned me to the importance of understanding customer needs and ensuring a satisfying experience. My experience with Southern Glazer's as an on premise rep has been monumental for my personal growth as it pertains to monthly sales performance. I continue to strengthen my closing skills while fully understanding the needs of my customers. I strive for complete consumer satisfaction and take pride in the work I do. My time management and organization skills enable me to effectively multi-task and manage a range of duties. I am capable of working under pressure and meeting demanding deadlines with confidence. My personal nature and creative outlook help me work well with diverse individuals and as part of a team. Having served in leadership roles, I am able to effectively convey information and provide direction with clarity. On a personal level, I am responsible, flexible and detail-oriented.
