Program Manager
Current•Demonstrates a high level of autonomy in executing institutional and program activities, including but not limited to educational events, trainings, recruitment, orientation, graduation, and site visits. •Collaborates closely with program directors to address program management challenges and initiatives. •Identifies areas for improvement and evaluates methods to enhance program effectiveness, providing insightful recommendations to program leadership. •Works in partnership with program leadership to develop program-level policies, ensuring alignment with institutional and accreditation requirements, and shares program-specific policies with the GME Office. •Serves as a central liaison between residents/fellows, program directors, faculty, the GME office, human resources labor relations, participating sites, and external agencies. •Develops robust processes for tracking data related to rotations, case/procedure logs, work hour compliance, conference attendance, evaluations, scholarly activity, and quality improvement/patient safety projects. •Conducts thorough evaluations of program policies to ensure consistency with institutional and accreditation standards. •Manages and disseminates trainee schedules, overseeing rotation schedules throughout the year, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and training goals. •Monitors the completion and compliance of work hour logs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. •Ensures the preparation of accurate documentation for board eligibility and assists with the development and completion of trainee evaluations. •Facilitate the establishment and organization of Competency Clinical Committee (CCC) and Annual Program Evaluation (APE) committee meetings. Lead and manage all aspects of these meetings, ensuring productive discussions and effective decision-making processes.
