I am a passionate and dedicated Advanced Literature Educator with over 7 years of experience in fostering a deep appreciation for literature across two High Schools (Callaway High School & Troup High School). I am skilled in designing and implementing challenging curricula that engage students in critical thinking, advanced literary analysis, and effective communication. As an educator, I engage participants in higher level learning and thinking using a variety of instructional techniques, evaluate participant’s academic progress by revising and analyzing assessments, plan and implement engaging lessons, create and maintain a positive working environment, collaborate with teachers and teacher leaders to update and revise pacing guides, maintain accurate records regarding grades, attendance and communication and communicate effectively with parents, administrators and stakeholders.

As a cooperating teacher, I assist the student teacher in orientation to the classroom and school, provide developmental feedback through observations, share the school handbook and policy, personal teaching philosophy, classroom management and vision for the classroom, encourage and guide the student teacher, model lessons, and observe the student teacher.

Responsible for all duties of the regular classroom teacher, being knowledgeable of school policies andprocedures, maintaining a positive learning atmosphere in the classroom, and creating a classroom environment that is conductive to learning and appropriate to the maturity andinterests of the students.

As a Family Liaison, I was responsible for being knowledgeable about the Title I Program,The Parental Involvement policies and the Home-School Compact, scheduling appointments for visits with parents/ guardians of students, making appropriate follow-up contacts with school personnel, communicating with teachers and families concerning school activities, encouraging and supporting home-school communications, maintaining a daily time log and accurate records of familyinvolvement activities, and completing required records and documents in a timely manner

Responsible for opening and closing the store. Responsible for all phases of store operations from cashier to authorizing associates. Trained and developed associates in company policies and procedures.

Responsible for leading team members and front counter. Assisted supervisors in daily objectives and revenue goals.
