I am an experienced commercial & operational strategist with entrepreneurial flair and a passion for innovation in addressing climate action responsibilities. During COVID-19 I took the opportunity to up skill at the UCD Innovation Academy, taking several post grad courses leading to a MSc in Design Thinking for Sustainability. This was the career pivot I didn't know I was looking for! It enabled me to pause, reflect and seek new opportunities that would align my personal and professional passions. Enabling me to contribute positively to climate action. I am a leader who cares about facilitating positive change, passionate about education and instilling a growth mindset where and when the opportunity arises. Recently achieving B Corp certification in just five months is testament to having adopted growth mindset & systems approach to 'change making'. The Design Thinking process is a multi disciplinary systemic approach to change management. Creative and innovative outcomes, new ways of tackling old problems emerge. Being human centric it often demonstrates how interconnected and dependent we are to each other and the natural world.
