About Bridgette Mejorada

I'm a student a Virginia Commonwealth University majoring in Social Work. As I’m working towards my BSW, I found that I am passionate about the humanitarian sector and I hope to provide support and aid to countries and communities facing disaster or hardships. I have taken the time to volunteer locally with youth programs with students experiencing extraordinary circumstances. I’m also working towards a TEFL certification along with the Peace Corps Prep Program through VCU. I previously interned at the International Rescue Committee with the Resource Development team and the Intensive Case Management team.
