As the EY Global Private Equity Leader, I proudly oversee a team of 20,000 professionals across 145 countries in one of the fastest-growing sectors. I have spent 20 years advising on Private Equity and currently lead EY’s relationship with a number of large global private equity clients. Having secured $1b investment into the EY private equity business, I am spearheading the deployment of these funds to further grow and capitalize on the firm’s leading market position in transactions, with a strategic focus on expansion in the areas of value creation including portfolio transformation and the innovative integration of Generative AI technologies. Through a combination of strategic acquisitions and the ongoing hiring of specialized, high-profile and experienced talent, I am committed to creating a global private equity powerhouse serving clients at every stage of the deal lifecycle. Prior to this role, I was the EY EMEIA Managing Partner for tax for three years, a $5 billion business that achieved annual double-digit growth under my leadership.I am a committee member of The Senate of Queen's University Belfast. I sit on the EY Global Practice Group, represent the EY organization on the board of British American Business, and am the Chair of The Ireland Funds Great Britain, where I led the creation of a global initiative on Women in Philanthropy.
