Bridget Whited, Art Educator of St. Michaels Middle High School, serves as a sponsor of National Art Honor Society, AP Studio Art instructor, a member of the CARE & SIT teams and facilitates Equity PD to colleagues. Bridget graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. K-12 Art Education and is currently pursuing a Masters in Educational Leadership at the University of Massachusetts. Bridget has been recognized for her inclusion of students with disabilities within every aspect of the fine arts curriculum as she teaches AP studio Art and special education students simultaneously. Trans-disciplinary lesson development is her unique attribute to student learning as the Art room becomes a classroom that incorporates all contents through equitable STEM and Common Core infusion. Bridget has been named Talbot County Public Schools Teacher of the Year for 2014-2015.
