My role in this large-scale project primarily involved developing a working prototype on WordPress CMS that included the following functional requirements:• E-learning interface• Community forum• Membership subscription systemThis involved an ongoing iterative approach to project development in collaboration with a small team. A custom Wordpress template was created and functional plugins customised substantially in order to achieve the functional requirements of this specialised project. Responsibilities included:• Scope and define project requirements• Identify, research and implement relevant third-party technologies• Maintain and advise on website security• Create visual design of website in line with brand guidelines• Redesign user interface to improve user flow and experience• Customise PHP plugins to match functional requirements• Upgrade and maintain CMS systems as needed• Ensure mobile responsiveness across a range of device widths• Update and create website and multimedia content• Manage and support users • Administer Webmaster Tools and improve Google Ranking

In this role, I created print design for the Marketing and Communications Manager, as well as web content management.

Keeping to deadlines, maintaining partner branding (3, Vodafone and Optus), and making sure tech specs were kept to for a smooth output via QuickCut to newspapers were all flavour of each and every day at Strathfield. My sad decision to leave was made for the sake of wanting to bring my children up in the Northern Rivers.
