Project Engineer - North East Link - Vent Tunnel & Smoke ShaftsVent TunnelA single heading and bench sequentially excavated tunnel with multiple bends and incline changes. The tunnel has five perpendicular adits with concrete backfill for adjacent TBM to mine through. The permanent lining will incorporate invert reinforcement cages, arch reinforcement, mechanised arch formwork and breakthrough lining into the TBM road tunnel.The Scope Includes:Site EstablishmentExcavation and Primary LiningPermanent Insitu ConcreteLiningSmoke Shafts Two 15m deep, 7m x 7m shafts above the future TBM road tunnels. The shafts are sequentially excavated and lined with rock bolts and shotcrete primary lining. A backfill plug will be poured for the TBM to mine through.
