I am currently a student in the Event Management program at Humber College. I am being trained in customer service, event marketing, event design, and much more. I am also taking an extracurricular leadership course to hone my skills. I am keen to learn the logistics of corporate event management and specifically incentive planning. I believe in rewarding hard work in the workplace and bringing a work community closer together. Focusing on the big picture in events helps make everything run smoothly, but I also love the attention to detail that makes an event memorable for each of its attendees and the client.Education is very important to me, and I plan to transfer to the Honours Bachelor of Commerce program at Humber College for September 2023. This will give me a stronger project management and business management background to apply to positions in the event industry. I am very hard working and pride myself in learning and organizing. I have acquired many transferable skills as a student and cannot wait to apply them to the event industry. I am a perpetual learner and believe strongly in the value of continuous improvement.Outside of school I love to volunteer in events and animal-care related positions.
