This position manages relationships, proposals, and reporting with current and prospective foundation and corporate partners. I conduct prospect research, write and develop donor communications, and support other department processes, including fundraising appeals and acknowledgment letters. I develop strategies and tactics to strengthen relationships with current funders and cultivate relationships with prospects.

In this new role, I implement strategies to streamline our day to day operations. I also look at program evaluations to suggest edits or changes to the programs. I assist with the planning and execution of our brand new pilot programs, which includes placing over 50 volunteers between 6 sites, and confirming 15 guest speakers.

I oversaw the collection and data entry of all paperwork from over 60 schools for over 600 students each semester to ensure all volunteers and students. I also distributed over 1,000 surveys to analyze the effectiveness of our various programs for students.

I worked under the Corporate Relations team, where we partnered with Fortune 500 companies to initiate impactful giving strategies and foster corporate employee engagement. I helped research company profiles to identify potential targeted companies, and advanced the activities of institutional giving efforts. In addition, I took lead on inputting key information into Salesforce on corporate executives and board members to strengthen our future research capabilities.

Our team's goal was to fundraise $1 million for the Support An Athlete Program; a program that covered all costs for athletes to participate in the World Games. My main project was to create a campus-wide event at LMU, which fundraised over $1,000 towards our goal. I also implemented large scale events at others schools such as USC and UCLA. We designed excel spreadsheets and data bases for over 7,000 athletes.

I was in charge of leading a group of 10 students on a service immersion trip to Guatemala, focusing on the education system and working with under-privileged youth in the community. I created meeting agendas that informed the group on the current events happening in Guatemala, and facilitated reflections to give students a better understand of the trip’s purpose.

I created a long term marketing plan based on Facebook and Twitter, all centered on the opening of their new Cafe downtown.
