I play a vital role in connecting OSU students with Black organizations in Columbus to address and assist with their unique challenges and needs.My primary responsibility is to serve as a liaison between OSU students and local Black organizations, fostering meaningful partnerships and facilitating connections that empower students to make a positive impact in the community. I actively listen to the concerns, issues, and problems presented by OSU students and work collaboratively with them to identify relevant Black organizations that can provide assistance and support.

As a member of Student Government, I actively engage with students, faculty, and administrators to represent their interests and advocate for positive change on campus. My primary focus is to amplify the voices and concerns of my fellow students, particularly those from marginalized communities, and work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable university environment. As an Outreach Member at TEDxOhioStateUniversity, my role is to engage with and uplift marginalized parts of the Columbus Community, providing them with a platform to amplify their voices and contribute to the mission of TED: ideas worth spreading. Our committee is dedicated to breaking down barriers of exclusivity and fostering inclusivity by cultivating ideas from our community that might otherwise go unheard. I also helped organize the 1400+ audience yearly TED convention

The success of the African American Heritage Fest Poetry Showcase was not only measured by the outstanding performances, but also by the positive impact it had on the community. By showcasing the richness of African American culture through the power of poetry, we aimed to challenge stereotypes, highlight historical contributions, and inspire social change.
