Presently, I am general counsel at Bondex, a leading provider of surety bond credit to contractors and emerging companies. At Bondex, I negotiate and aid in the drafting of construction contracts, analyze lien issues and litigating lien foreclosure actions, prosecute and defend construction claims, and litigate construction and surety disputes in Superior Court of New Jersey.Previously, I was an associate at the Bianchi Law Group, LLC located in Caldwell, New Jersey and handled various criminal law matters, including matters both in the Superior Court of New Jersey and at the municipal level. While at the Bianchi Law Group, I managed cases from inception to trial on behalf of my clients for matters ranging from motor vehicle offenses to drug offenses to sexual assault. During my time as an associate, I appeared at court for initial appearances, arraignment, pre-trial conferences, and sentencing. In addition, I regularly prepared and filed legal briefs in connection with motions to exclude evidence and motions to compel discovery. Further, I would prepare mitigation packages, PTI appeals, sentencing memorandums, and conducted legal research on various legal topics. In addition, I was an associate at Wolff & Samson from 2010 to 2014, and was a summer associate at the firm in 2008. At Wolff & Samson, I primarily worked in the commercial civil litigation department. I handled cases in Superior Court of New Jersey and United States District Court, District of New Jersey, including conducting fact and expert depositions, attending case management conferences, and preparing cases for trial. In addition, I managed all aspects of discovery including electronic discovery. In 2012, I litigated a personal injury case on behalf of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority before a jury trial in Union County Superior Court, as well as conducted direct and cross-examinations of witnesses.
