The Depot Support Analyst is responsible for receiving all personal computing items ordered by procurement group as well as managing depot inventory. This position acts as the primary interface for allocation of equipment to client requests and refreshes projects. Responsibilities include receiving equipment, attaching asset tags to each piece of hardware, recording asset information, recording software license details, monitoring inventory levels; participate in asset recycling and disposition.• Receives all incoming items related to personal computer orders and verifies accuracy• Communicates receipt of equipment to WB procurement group or EIS procurement group for payment processing• Provides asset information to asset management group• Follows asset management processes to attach bar coded asset tags to each piece of hardware and record relevant information• Follows asset management processes to record software license information for each piece of software purchased• Monitors inventory levels and notifies procurement group when re-order thresholds are reached• Distributes and stages all items related to personal computer orders from documentation provided• Participates in asset recycling process, keeps track of all PC’s in depot inventory and allocates equipment according to EIS (Enterprise Infrastructure Services) policy

As an ICS Associate, I am to maintain proper cleanliness and safety of the backroom as well as make sure all merchandise is accounted for. An Inventory Control Specialist is supposed to pick stock from the backroom bins and place them on carts to be stocked by the Sales Associates. We count merchandise in the back to ensure that proper numbers are recorded in the system as well as create audits if merchandise cannot be found.

Maintain the stock on the sales floor and ensure a safe shopping environment for customers. Zone merchandise and make sure all product has been restocked on the shelves as well as offload freight in a quick and safe manner.
