Brien Richmond is the President and CEO of Focal Point, a full-service marketing and creative agency. With more than two decades of creative, marketing and management experience to draw on, Brien founded the company in 2009. Born out of his passion to be directly involved in the creative process, Brien envisioned and built a firm that is focused on bringing a unique blend of strategic insight, stand-out ideas, and superior service to clients.Prior to starting his own company, Brien honed his marketing and creative skills with over 15 years of broadcast television experience and 8 years as the General Manager of a creative services firm in Indianapolis. The first nine years of his career were spent in the field as a photojournalist for television news, followed by three years as Operations Manager for WRTV Channel 6, the ABC affiliate in Indianapolis. Brien won several awards for his work as a photojournalist from the National Press Photographers Association, Indiana Press Photographers Association, and the Associated Press.As the Founder and Owner of Focal Point, Brien has had the privilege of partnering with clients across a diverse array of fields, including Wiley Publishing, Shiel Sexton, The Taco Bell Foundation and the The Clorox Company.Brien’s extensive time behind the camera, blended with his many years of marketing experience, provide a strong foundation for his role as President/CEO of Focal Point.
