As a researcher at the UrBis Laboratory, I focus on advancing bioclimatic and sustainable urbanism through interdisciplinary research and innovative solutions. Leveraging expertise in environmental science and urban design, our work aims to uncover insights that drive the creation of resilient and eco-friendly cities. Through collaboration with stakeholders and community engagement, we strive to translate research into actionable strategies for building sustainable urban environments that prioritize both human well-being and environmental conservation.

Internal researcher in the PLUS ULTRA research group at the Federal University of Ouro Preto, coordinated by Dr. Alice Viana de Araújo, where I had the opportunity to work on urban projects for the Municipal Government of Ouro Preto as well as research issues related to urban design, urban mobility, and landscape.

Volunteer of the extension project 'COFFEE WITH SCIENCE: A GEOTECHNICAL CONVERSATION WITH THE COMMUNITY', coordinated by Professor Julia Castro Mendes. The project aimed to bring knowledge of the Ouro Preto mountain range to the local population, considering the imminent geological risks in the region.

As a Projects Coordinator at the Academic Center, I led a multidisciplinary team in impactful initiatives. I planned and executed events, managing deadlines and objectives. I collaborated with the board on strategies to engage students. I negotiated with external partners and ensured resources for financial sustainability. I kept accurate records for continuous project performance evaluation and represented the center at external events, strengthening its influence.

As Secretary of the academic center, I managed administrative tasks efficiently. I maintained communication channels, handled correspondence, and organized meetings. Additionally, I played a crucial role in record-keeping and ensuring smooth operation of the center's activities. My attention to detail and organizational skills contributed to the effective functioning of the center, facilitating communication among members and supporting the achievement of our goals.

During my internship at Carlos Eloy Arquitetura, I delved into the exciting world of construction management, where I had the opportunity to learn and grow significantly. As part of the construction management team, I was exposed to a variety of challenging projects, allowing me to apply and enhance my practical skills.My journey involved monitoring construction schedules, coordinating on-site teams, managing suppliers, and conducting quality inspections. Additionally, I worked closely with engineers and architects, contributing to problem-solving and decision-making to ensure efficient and successful project progress.This experience not only honed my technical skills but also provided me with a deeper understanding of the lifecycle of a construction project and the importance of teamwork and effective communication in the construction environment.

As a monitor for the CIV620 - Reinforced Concrete Construction course at the Federal University of Ouro Preto's Architecture and Urbanism program, under the guidance of Professor Rovadavia Aline de Jesus Ribas, I provided valuable support to students. Assisting in class discussions, grading assignments, and offering additional guidance, I helped enhance the learning experience and fostered a collaborative environment. This role allowed me to deepen my understanding of reinforced concrete construction while developing leadership and communication skills.

During my exchange to attend urban planning courses in Architecture and Urbanism through the CAINT/UFOP program, I had a transformative experience. Immersed in an international academic environment, I explored new perspectives and approaches in urban planning, significantly enriching my professional background.Studying in a multicultural setting exposed me to a diversity of ideas, methods, and urban practices, broadening my understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by cities around the world. Additionally, interacting with international peers and professors provided a valuable exchange of knowledge and experiences, contributing to my personal and academic development.This exchange not only enhanced my expertise in urban planning but also equipped me with essential skills such as adaptability, intercultural communication, and critical thinking. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to participate in this program and confident that the lessons learned will benefit me throughout my professional career.

Assisting in class discussions, conducting review sessions, and providing guidance on assignments, I contributed to fostering a conducive learning environment.
