For the past 15 years I've been actively buying, building, and selling companies from a wide variety of industries.I don’t like to advertise this fact, but I would do what I do for free. Why? Because I love the entire process involved in buying and selling good businesses. I enjoy the discovery, analysis,and the thinking that are required. I love the craft and care that goes into my efforts to make win-win deals. My personal and professional experiences have taught me the following about myself:I tend to attract and develop opportunities and talented people and I'm often chosen by those I serve to help lead teams and organizations. I'm a big believer in integrity and character. As such, I have always fulfilled my obligations with others even when recipients have not, and often at a great cost and sacrifice to me. For example, I've always raised the required capital needed to successfully make whatever acquisition my team and I were contractually obligated to purchase, and I've never backed out of a deal once a contract was signed. I also love reading books from a wide variety of topics although business books and biographies are my favorite. I'm also a big fan of chess, volunteer work, toastmasters public speaking and leadership development, and competing in triathlons.
